Visualmee Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Visualmee is built to be private. It has no account, runs the AI on your device, and Alplantis does not receive your prompts, images or usage data.

By downloading or using Visualmee, in any country where it is offered, you confirm that you have had the chance to read this policy and that you accept how it describes the handling of your data.

2. What stays on your device

• Prompts and images. Everything you type and every image you create is processed and stored only on your device (in the app's own storage, and in your Photos library only if you save there). If you use iCloud device backups, Apple may back them up under Apple's terms.
• Settings and consent. Your age declaration (18+), the version and date of the terms you accepted, and app preferences are stored locally.
• Diagnostics log. Visualmee keeps a small technical log (model loads, timings, errors, memory warnings; no prompts) on your device to help fix problems. It never leaves the device unless you choose to send it to us (for example by e-mail), in which case we use it only to answer your request and delete it when no longer needed.
• AI label in image files. When AI generates or edits a picture, the file Visualmee writes carries an invisible, machine-readable label saying so (see EU AI Act Art. 50, official text: <https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1689/oj>; similar labelling rules exist in South Korea, India and California, see the Terms of Use, section 6). Your own photo changed only with non-AI tools is not labelled as AI. Other apps and services may remove the label when they re-save a file. You must not remove it. The label contains the AI source type and the app name only: no prompt, no device identifier, no personal data.
• Photos of other people. Visualmee processes the pictures you choose only on your device. You need the rights and consent required for any person shown in them (Terms of Use, section 5).
• Prompt help. If you use prompt help, it runs on your device (Apple Intelligence on supported devices, or a local Ollama server on your Mac). Visualmee does not send prompts to our servers or to cloud AI services.

3. Network connections

• Model downloads from Hugging Face. When you download a model, your device connects to Hugging Face (Hugging Face, Inc., USA) to fetch the model files. Hugging Face receives your IP address and standard request information, as with any download, under its own privacy policy. We do not receive it.
• Purchases (RevenueCat). Purchases are processed by Apple. To check which features you have unlocked, the app will use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) as our processor. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data, used only to manage your entitlement, under a data processing agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Reports. If you tap Report, your mail app opens a draft with the image recipe (model, style, seed, steps, prompt) and the app version. Nothing is sent unless you send it: we cannot see your content, because it stays on your device. We use reports only to improve safety and answer you.
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs that collect data.

4. Legal bases (GDPR / KVKK)

Where we process personal data (support e-mails, reports, RevenueCat entitlement data): performance of the contract (providing the app and purchases), legitimate interest (safety, abuse prevention, support), and legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

Support e-mails and reports: as long as needed to handle them, at most 24 months. RevenueCat data: for the life of the subscription and as required by law. Everything on your device: until you delete it or the app.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu, <https://www.kvkk.gov.tr>; in the EU, your local authority under the GDPR, <https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj>; in Brazil, the ANPD under the LGPD, <https://www.planalto.gov.br/ccivil_03/_ato2015-2018/2018/lei/l13709.htm>). 7. Children

Visualmee is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of anyone under 18.

8. Requests from authorities

We hold almost no data about users. We answer lawful requests from authorities with what we have, which usually is only support e-mails or reports.

9. Türkiye

10. Changes

We will update this policy when the app changes (for example when subscriptions launch) and show the new version in the app.
